Terms & Conditions of sale

‘The Bridal Boutique Ltd’ will be referred to as ‘The Company’, ‘The event’ refers to wedding, civil partnership or any other ceremony.

Goods ordered normally take up to 16 weeks for delivery. This will be advised prior to the purchaser placing an order. Gowns requiring extra length or special manufacturer’s alterations may be subject to a surcharge which will be passed on to the purchaser. This charge will be advised to the purchaser at the earliest opportunity. Any rush charge will be charged to the purchaser in full. Upon ordering, a minimum deposit of 50% is required on all gowns. No alterations can be carried out until the goods are paid for in full. Recommended alteration time is eight weeks prior to the event. ALL ALTERATIONS ARE CHARGED SEPARATELY AND ARE PAYABLE IN FULL ON COLLECTION OF THE GOODS.

Exact colours and shades on fabrics and designs on trim, including lace, cannot always be guaranteed.

During gown fittings, it is recommended that shoes and underwear should be the ones intended to be worn during the event. We will recommend the amount of alterations necessary but if the purchaser insists on a different fit than recommended, The Company cannot be held responsible for any dissatisfaction on the day of the event. The Company also cannot accept any responsibility for gowns not fitting correctly when collected due to a change in the purchaser’s actual physical size.

In case of the event being cancelled for any reason after ordering the goods, the outstanding balance becomes payable as if the event were still to be going ahead. A minimum of 5 working days will be required to allow any cheque to clear. The balance of alteration charges, if any, will then also become payable.

All sale items are “SOLD AS SEEN”. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to check that they are happy with the condition of the gown at the time of purchase. The Company can arrange for professional cleaning of sale dresses, however they cannot be held responsible for any damage or change of colour caused by the cleaning service provided. Any cleaning charges will be passed on to the purchaser in full.

The Company will not accept responsibility for the damage to or loss of goods once the purchaser has taken them from The Company’s premises.
